Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle for automotive components using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Design and optimize manufacturing processes for cost-effective production
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and test new materials and technologies
- Generate detailed technical documentation and engineering drawings
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Certification in Six Sigma or DFSS (Designed for Six Sigma)
- Experience with electric vehicle powertrain systems
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
