Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Design and validate mechanical systems using CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams for integrated system solutions
- Develop test protocols and validate product performance under real-world conditions
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and sustainability
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and materials science
- Experience with hydraulic/pneumatic systems and mechatronics integration
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP highly valued
- Portfolio showcasing complex mechanical design projects
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
