Responsibilities
- Lead design, prototyping, and testing of complex mechanical systems using CAD and simulation tools
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative product solutions
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal analysis for performance optimization
- Manage project timelines and deliverables while ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for continuous improvement
- Research emerging technologies and propose innovative engineering solutions
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs and assembly drawings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD) and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, etc.)
- Experience with FEA/thermal analysis and materials selection
- Proven ability to manage projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
