Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical system design and validation for high-performance industrial equipment
- Develop CAD models and simulations using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost and efficiency improvements
- Manage project timelines and deliverables in an agile development framework
- Conduct failure analysis and implement robust design solutions
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and test new technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and FEA tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards
- Proven track record in automotive or heavy machinery projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
