Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from conceptual design through prototyping and validation
- Perform advanced CAD modeling and FEA/CFD simulations using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize thermal management systems for electric vehicle powertrains
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for mechanical validation
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining project budgets and timelines
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP highly advantageous
- Deep understanding of GD&T, material science, and DFM principles
- Proven track record of managing complex mechanical systems
- Strong analytical problem-solving with hands-on prototyping skills
