Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical power distribution systems.
- Perform high-fidelity simulations and modeling for thermal, stress, and electrical performance.
- Oversee schematic capture, PCB layout, and prototype testing for hardware components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate embedded firmware with electrical hardware.
- Ensure all designs meet stringent safety, reliability, and regulatory industry standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous technical design reviews.
- Troubleshoot field issues and provide engineering solutions to optimize system uptime.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- 5+ years of professional experience in power systems, power electronics, or hardware design.
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
- Strong background in analog/digital circuit design and power conversion technologies.
- Familiarity with simulation software such as MATLAB, Simulink, or PSpice.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is a strong plus.
