Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Develop detailed CAD models and technical documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural and thermal analysis
- Collaborate with R&D teams to optimize manufacturing processes
- Manage vendor relationships and component sourcing strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, ISO)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS
- Proven track record in FEA/CFD analysis and simulation
- Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing processes
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and technical communication skills
- Experience in automotive or heavy machinery industries preferred
