Responsibilities
- Design and optimize automotive mechanical systems using advanced CAD/SolidWorks tools
- Lead FEA/CFD simulations for performance validation and reliability testing
- Develop prototypes and oversee testing protocols for new components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions
- Document technical specifications and create engineering documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven project leadership in complex mechanical systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly desirable
- Experience with ISO 9001 and APQP standards
