Responsibilities
- Lead design, prototyping, and validation of mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools
- Analyze thermal, structural, and fluid dynamics performance through FEA/CFD simulations
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Develop technical documentation including BOMs, assembly drawings, and test procedures
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate cross-departmental project execution
- Ensure compliance with ISO, ASME, and industry-specific standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS Suite
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and DFMEA methodologies
- Proven track record in managing product lifecycle from concept to production
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly desirable
