Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of complex mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools
- Develop innovative solutions for automation and manufacturing challenges
- Conduct FEA simulations and physical prototyping for performance optimization
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate mechanical components into larger systems
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and industry peers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation software
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, etc.)
- Proven track record leading complex engineering projects
- Experience with DFM/DFA principles and tolerance analysis
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification
