Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex products and systems from concept through to production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 2D and 3D models and manufacturing drawings.
- Conduct stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic simulations using FEA tools to ensure product integrity and safety.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, manufacturability, and assembly efficiency.
- Oversee the prototyping process, including 3D printing, machining, and material selection.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of prototypes to meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Prepare and present technical reports and design reviews to stakeholders and management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design, preferably in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD/CAM software.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiarity with FEA/CFD analysis tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) is a plus.
- Experience with rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, CNC machining).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
