Responsibilities
- Design and validate high-voltage power distribution systems for aerospace platforms
- Lead PCB layout for mixed-signal circuits using Altium Designer
- Conduct EMC/EMI testing and compliance certification per FAA standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Develop firmware for embedded motor control systems
- Interface with suppliers for component qualification and procurement
- Present technical findings to cross-functional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in aerospace or defense power systems design
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Strong background in DO-160 certification processes
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for power modeling
- Experience with CAN bus and Avionics databus protocols
- Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain
