Responsibilities
- Lead design and optimization of mechanical systems for aerospace propulsion components using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal modeling to validate structural integrity
- Develop detailed manufacturing specifications and collaborate with production teams
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within agile development framework
- Research emerging materials and technologies to enhance product performance
- Present technical findings to stakeholders and provide engineering guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech industries
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation software
- Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and regulatory standards
- Proven track record of leading complex mechanical projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain
