Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle from concept to validation using CAD/CAE tools
- Develop and optimize mechanical systems for automotive applications
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations and physical testing for performance validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototype development and troubleshooting
- Document technical specifications and create detailed engineering drawings
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for automotive/industrial products
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
