Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design and validation of high-precision industrial systems
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and physical prototyping for performance optimization
- Develop detailed technical documentation including CAD models, BOMs, and test protocols
- Collaborate with electrical/software teams on integrated system architectures
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design methodologies
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in product development for industrial or consumer products
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record of managing complex mechanical systems from concept to production
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with DFM/DFA principles and tolerance analysis
- Excellent problem-solving skills with systematic approach to root cause analysis
