Responsibilities
- Design and analyze complex mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Lead product development from concept through prototyping to production
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost-efficiency and quality
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and validate experimental results
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors for component sourcing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Expertise in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS, NX)
- Strong analytical skills with FEA/CFD certification
- Knowledge of GD&T and ASME standards
- Proven project leadership in product development cycles
- Experience with additive manufacturing processes
