Responsibilities
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Lead product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations
- Collaborate with R&D teams on material selection and testing
- Document technical specifications and compliance reports
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and simulation
- Expertise in CAD/CAE tools and GD&T principles
- Proven project management with PMP certification a plus
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or energy sectors
