Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production using CAD/CAE tools
- Design and optimize mechanical systems for industrial automation equipment
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal management simulations
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams on mechanical best practices
- Develop prototyping solutions and validate designs through rigorous testing
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams for integrated system solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial products
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T, DFMA, and tolerance analysis principles
- Proven track record of leading complex mechanical projects from concept to production
- Experience with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping technologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
