Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle for advanced mechanical systems
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and optimize designs for performance/cost
- Collaborate with prototyping team to validate concepts through physical testing
- Generate detailed manufacturing drawings and technical specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
- Present technical solutions to stakeholders and executive leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Strong background in materials science and thermal systems
- Certification in Six Sigma or DFSS highly desirable
- Experience with rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining)
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills with complex mechanical systems
