Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of propulsion systems using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA simulations and material testing for performance validation
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and specifications
- Optimize designs for weight reduction, thermal efficiency, and cost
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with suppliers to ensure component quality and delivery timelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Strong background in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
- Experience with composite materials and lightweight structures
- Certification in ASME BPVC Section VIII preferred
- Proven project leadership in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
