Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept validation to mass production
- Design and optimize complex mechanical systems using CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, CATIA)
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations
- Develop test protocols and oversee prototype validation in ISO-certified labs
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with suppliers to ensure component quality and cost efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in CAD modeling and simulation software
- Strong understanding of GD&T, ASME standards, and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of bringing products from concept to market
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Experience with electric vehicle powertrain systems highly desirable
