Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production, utilizing CAD/CAE tools
- Optimize product performance through FEA analysis and prototyping validation
- Drive innovation in sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional teams on technical best practices
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate emerging technologies into product development
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record in complex system integration and DFM principles
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Experience with additive manufacturing and smart technologies
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
