Responsibilities
- Lead design and prototyping of advanced heat exchangers and cooling systems
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations using ANSYS/AutoCAD for thermal performance optimization
- Develop detailed CAD models and technical documentation for manufacturing
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system solutions
- Conduct material selection and stress analysis for high-reliability components
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in thermal system design
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and MATLAB
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer principles and fluid dynamics
- Experience with automotive or battery thermal systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
