Responsibilities
- Lead design and prototyping of complex mechanical components using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for product optimization
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new manufacturing processes and materials
- Oversee testing procedures and validate product performance against industry standards
- Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS, AutoCAD)
- Strong understanding of material science and manufacturing processes
- Proven project management experience with PMP certification a plus
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ISO) and regulatory requirements
