We are seeking a visionary Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our elite team in Austin, Texas. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of mechanical product development, from conceptualization to mass production. At Apex Dynamics, we don't just follow trends; we set them.

Responsibilities
- Design Leadership: Lead the mechanical design of complex systems using advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
- Simulation & Validation: Conduct rigorous Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and thermal analysis to ensure product durability and performance under stress.
- Prototyping: Collaborate with manufacturing partners to transition designs from digital models to physical prototypes.
- Problem Solving: Perform root-cause analysis on field failures and implement robust engineering solutions.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including BOMs, DFM (Design for Manufacturing) reports, and assembly manuals.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs adhere to relevant safety standards, ISO certifications, and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar 3D modeling software. Experience with ANSYS or Abaqus for simulation is highly preferred.
- Standards: Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
