Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to production using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for system optimization
- Develop and implement testing protocols for mechanical components and assemblies
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM/DFA principles are applied
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing techniques for performance enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for energy systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and thermal simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with ISO 9001 and ASME standards
