Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of automotive components using CAD/CAM tools
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis to optimize product performance and durability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate systems into vehicle platforms
- Develop and execute validation testing protocols for mechanical assemblies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and automotive industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in product lifecycle management
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with electric vehicle powertrain systems highly desirable
