Responsibilities
- Lead design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical systems for automotive applications
- Develop CAD models and technical documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate performance and durability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integration and manufacturing processes
- Implement GD&T standards and quality control methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers and optimize engineering workflows
- Research emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with automotive systems and regulatory standards
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
