Responsibilities
- Design and optimize aerospace components using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Lead prototype testing and validation in dynamic environments
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Develop compliance documentation for FAA certification
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated systems
- Analyze thermal and stress performance under extreme conditions
- Present findings to executive stakeholders and industry partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years in aerospace or high-performance mechanical design
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Experience with composite materials and additive manufacturing
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics and fluid mechanics
- FAA certification familiarity (DO-160, DO-178)
- Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects
