Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design from concept to production using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Execute FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated product development
- Develop comprehensive test plans and prototype validation procedures
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CAD/CAM tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in bringing complex mechanical systems to market
- Experience with DOE methodologies and DFMEA processes
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly desirable
