Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production using CAD/CAE tools
- Develop and validate innovative propulsion systems for electric vehicles
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to optimize performance and durability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, software, manufacturing)
- Drive DFM/DFA initiatives to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in automotive or mobility product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Deep understanding of powertrain systems and thermal management
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of bringing complex products to market
- PMP or PE certification highly desirable
