Responsibilities
- Lead complex mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop thermal management systems for electric vehicle powertrains
- Optimize manufacturing processes for precision components
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews
- Interface with cross-functional teams (electrical, software)
- Validate designs through FEA and prototyping
- Drive DFM initiatives for cost reduction
Qualifications
- MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong background in materials science and manufacturing
- Proven project leadership in automotive/aerospace
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards
- Experience with agile development methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
