Core Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo) to create innovative product architectures.
- Conduct rigorous finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance.
- Oversee the prototyping phase, managing the transition from 3D printed concepts to CNC-machined and injection-molded production parts.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing protocols, including stress testing, fatigue analysis, and environmental compliance testing (ISO/ASME standards).
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA).
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, design specifications, and manufacturing drawings.
Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the robotics, automotive, or consumer electronics industries.
- Proficient in advanced CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, PTC Creo) and simulation software (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of managing projects from concept through to production launch.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to stakeholders.
- Experience with rapid prototyping technologies (3D printing, laser cutting) is highly desirable.
