Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo)
- Develop and validate prototypes through FEA/CFD analysis and physical testing
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing product lines
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and simulation software
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record of bringing complex systems to market
- Certification in Six Sigma or Project Management a plus
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards
