Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical product development from concept to mass production
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations and tolerance analysis for complex assemblies
- Design and validate injection-molded components with DFM principles
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system architectures
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and patents
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in consumer product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
- Proven track record with rapid prototyping (3D printing, CNC machining)
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience leading cross-functional technical projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
