Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production, utilizing CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Develop and validate innovative thermal/fluid systems for renewable energy applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical components with electrical and software systems
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to optimize performance and durability of mechanical assemblies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through DFX (Design for Manufacturing, Assembly, etc.) methodologies
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 and ASME standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and simulation software (SolidWorks, ANSYS preferred)
- Proven track record in designing complex mechanical systems for industrial or energy sectors
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes (machining, injection molding, etc.)
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack analysis for precision components
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and drive innovation in fast-paced environments
