Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design and analysis of aerospace propulsion components using CAD/CAE tools
- Develop and validate prototypes through rapid prototyping and testing methodologies
- Optimize thermal management systems for high-performance drone applications
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system architectures
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural integrity and fluid dynamics validation
- Document technical specifications and create detailed engineering drawings
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech industries
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of composite materials and additive manufacturing
- Proven track record in thermal management system design
- Experience with prototype testing and validation methodologies
