Responsibilities
- Lead design, prototyping, and testing of automotive mechanical systems
- Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes using CAD/CAE tools
- Develop technical documentation and engineering specifications
- Collaborate with R&D teams to innovate component designs
- Conduct failure analysis and implement corrective actions
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and material science principles
- Experience with FEA/CFD analysis and validation testing
- Proven project leadership with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
