Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept validation to production release
- Optimize product performance using FEA/CFD simulations and physical prototyping
- Develop detailed CAD models and technical documentation per ASME standards
- Interface with suppliers to ensure manufacturing feasibility and cost efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
- Drive continuous improvement in design methodologies and engineering workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record in automotive or precision manufacturing design
- Strong understanding of GD&T, material science, and DFM principles
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects
