Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to production
- Develop and optimize CAD models using SolidWorks and Siemens NX
- Conduct FEA/CFD analysis for structural and thermal performance validation
- Design manufacturing processes and specify material requirements
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Interface with vendors and suppliers for component sourcing
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles
- Experience with additive manufacturing and rapid prototyping
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification
- Knowledge of HVAC, automotive, or aerospace systems
- Excellent problem-solving and technical documentation skills
