Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical design lifecycle from concept to validation using CAD tools (SolidWorks, Creo)
- Develop thermal/fluid system simulations and FEA analyses for high-performance applications
- Prototype testing and validation in state-of-the-art laboratory facilities
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with suppliers on component selection and cost optimization
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for automotive or energy sectors
- Proficiency in simulation tools (ANSYS, COMSOL) and CAD software
- Strong analytical skills with DOE and statistical analysis background
- Experience with rapid prototyping and testing methodologies
- PMP or Six Sigma certification highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and project management experience
