Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Perform advanced CAD modeling and FEA analysis using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize designs for manufacturability and cost efficiency
- Validate designs through rigorous testing and simulation protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with R&D to pioneer sustainable material solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, ASME standards, and DFMEA
- Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies
- Proven track record in leading complex mechanical projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
