Responsibilities
- Design and optimize complex mechanical systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred)
- Lead product development lifecycle from prototyping to mass production
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for performance validation
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system designs
- Develop technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in product development and mechanical design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles
- Experience with thermal management and fluid systems
- Proven project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
