Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of mechanical product development, ensuring our solutions are robust, efficient, and market-ready.
Responsibilities
- Lead Design & Development: Oversee the mechanical design process from concept through to mass production using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Simulation & Analysis: Conduct rigorous Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and stress testing to ensure component durability and safety.
- Prototyping: Collaborate with the R&D team to fabricate and test functional prototypes to validate design hypotheses.
- Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive manufacturing drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical specifications.
- Compliance: Ensure all designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and interns, providing technical expertise and fostering a culture of innovation.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably within the automotive, aerospace, or heavy machinery sectors.
- Software Proficiency: Expert level proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS or similar simulation tools.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record of troubleshooting and optimizing mechanical systems.
