Responsibilities

  • Conduct rigorous finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance under extreme conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams of electrical engineers, software developers, and materials scientists to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Oversee the manufacturing process, including 3D printing, CNC machining, and assembly, ensuring strict adherence to GD&T standards and quality control protocols.
  • Perform root cause failure analysis on test data and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product durability and reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on advanced engineering concepts and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, bill of materials (BOMs), and engineering reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s degree or PhD preferred) from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, with a strong background in the aerospace or automotive industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or PTC Creo.
