Responsibilities
- Lead product development lifecycle from conceptual design through prototyping and validation
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations using ANSYS/AutoDesk tools for structural analysis
- Design precision mechanical systems with tolerance analysis and GD&T implementation
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Develop test plans and conduct validation testing per ISO standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Strong knowledge of composite materials and additive manufacturing
- Professional Engineering (PE) license required
- Experience with DO-160G aerospace certification standards
- Demonstrated project leadership in cross-functional teams
