Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design process for new products, utilizing CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 2D and 3D models.
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations to validate design integrity and performance under various conditions.
- Oversee the fabrication of prototypes and manage rigorous testing protocols to ensure compliance with safety and industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into larger assemblies.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, manufacturing drawings, and design specifications.
- Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials science.
- Experience with FEA/CFD tools (Ansys, Abaqus) is a strong plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
