Responsibilities
- Design and optimize aerospace propulsion components using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Lead thermal management systems for electric aircraft powertrains
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for structural integrity and aerodynamic efficiency
- Develop test protocols and oversee validation of prototypes in lab environments
- Mentor junior engineers and cross-functional project collaboration
- Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA aerospace standards (DO-160, MIL-STD)
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace propulsion or high-performance mechanical systems
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and finite element analysis tools
- Hands-on experience with thermal management and materials science
- Familiarity with electric vehicle powertrain systems
- Strong problem-solving skills with systematic troubleshooting approach
- Active FAA Part 65 certification or equivalent aerospace credentials
