Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of complex mechanical systems and components using industry-standard CAD software.
- Conduct detailed stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate design integrity and safety.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance) to ensure design feasibility.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during the product development cycle.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with FEA simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, Abaqus) is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
