Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations using ANSYS
- Design precision mechanical components using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Validate designs through rigorous testing and failure analysis
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated systems
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and AutoCAD
- Strong background in materials science and manufacturing processes
- Certification in GD&T and ASME standards
- Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies
- Proven project management using Agile methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
